Action Research Case Study:

Bangchak’s Cooperative Service Station Model

The Yunus Center AIT (YCA) very pleased to announce that the action research case study that we were working with our worthy from Bangchak Corporate has been compeletly successful. From a preliminary review of the literature we find that the Cooperative Service Station model is already well-regarded.
Our International associate, Ms. Madelyn Johnson was given a task on working with a few of YCA team conducting a brief qualitative case study of Bangchak’s Cooperative Service Station business model, and explore links between the lessons gained from the company’s experience and that of its stakeholders, and the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, with an analysis of practical impact on the achievement of SDGs. This project was one of the showcase that YCA presented to the Social Business Campus within YCA's workshop at the 8th Global Social Business Summit in Paris on November 7th, 2017. We share your interpretation of Action Research as a practical, evaluative, and participatory activity that is essentially a tool for development rather than simply an addition to existing knowledge resources.
In addition to cooperation in the field of publishing experience about social business. YCA and Bangchak also has plans to increased the awareness of social business in the further future.
